⚙️ OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Opening:

  1. Remove the carry sleeve from the umbrella. Open the closing strap, surrounding the umbrella. When the umbrella is closed up the ribs can sometimes get caught in the fabric or on one To prevent this, please give your umbrella a little shake to free the ribs before opening it. This will lower the risk of bending or breaking the ribs.
  2. Royal Walk umbrellas have an automatic opening function and can be opened normally. Your umbrella should be open and close with a small button on its handle. Press this button while pushing the umbrella away from yourself and any potential passersby.
  3. Do not point the umbrella toward your face or the face of any other human being while attempting to open it. Remember to point your umbrella forward when opening Umbrellas can be dangerous if aimed thoughtlessly. If not, the wind could catch it and turn it inside out, or you could get hurt.

Closing:

  1. With the umbrella pointing away from you, push and release the open/close button to collapse the canopy and ribs.
  2. With one hand grasping the handle, take the palm of your other hand and place it at the very top of the umbrella. Your palm should be placed on the small circular plastic cap at the top. Firmly press the handle and top of the umbrella together until you hear it click into place. Never close the umbrella by grabbing the ribs!

💧 Maintenance & Care:

Dry your umbrella:

  • Never leave your umbrella wet and creased This may eventually cause damage to the fabric of the umbrella and on the steel frame parts.
  • Before putting back the umbrella into the carry sleeve, please leave it open to dry
  • Avoid water on the underside of your umbrella and then close
  • Leave your umbrella to dry away from direct sunlight to prevent the colors from

Clean your umbrella:

  • We recommend you to clean the fabric using water. You can soak the umbrella in a large tub and wash the surface of the umbrella carefully with a soft sponge.
  • Once the umbrella is clean, it is important that you leave it fully open until the umbrella is completely
